Are you using Outlook and Yahoo email apps on your smartphone or tablet? Even if you are using either of the email apps, then the information that you will read in just a while will be of great use to you because we are going to enlighten you about how to send PDF documents as attachments via Outlook and Yahoo email on smartphones and tablets. Many users will be like, ‘we already know this’, but this post is for those who don’t know about the process and would like to learn it in easiest of ways. The process remains valid for emails that are configured with Outlook or Yahoo, be it Roadrunner email or time warner cable email.
Do you use the Outlook app on your Android device or on iOS? In this case, in order to send a PDF document via email, you must first start the application by tapping on the relevant icon on the home screen and, in the new screen displayed, log in to your email account (if necessary) and start composing a new message by pressing the button with the pencil at the bottom right.
In the new screen that you see, fill in the ‘To’ field with the recipient’s email address, the Subject field with the email subject and the field below with the body of the message.
Then select the icon showing the paperclip located at the bottom right and choose the option Choose from files (to download the PDF from OneDrive) or Choose from the device files (to download the PDF from the device memory). The next step for you to do is select the reference file taking into account the limitations related to the maximum dimensions that I have indicated in the step dedicated to the use of Outlook from Web.
To proceed with the dispatch, press the button representing a paper airplane located at the top right and it is done.
Now let’s see how to send a PDF as an attachment using the Yahoo Mail app available for Android and iOS. First, start the application by tapping on the relevant icon on the home screen, log in to your account (if necessary) and press the button depicting a pencil at the bottom right.
In the new screen that you see, fill in the ‘To’ field with the email address of the recipient, the Subject field with the subject of the message and the area below with the body of the email.
Next, press the [+] button at the bottom right, tap the icon with the paper clip, select the reference PDF from the device memory (taking into account the weight restrictions I mentioned in the web version step Yahoo Mail ) and tap on the item Attach. If, on the other hand, the file is on the cloud, click on the icon with the cloud and pick up the document from Dropbox or from Google Drive.
Finally, send the email message by selecting the text Send which is located at the top right of the screen.
